Deal tabs
Where a deal's terms, team, diligence, memo, notes and documents live, and how AI autofill proposes terms from your notes.
A deal does not have a separate page. Open the company from the pipeline (or from Sourcing) and everything about the deal is in the same detail drawer, next to the company record. The drawer is one place for the whole story, from first meeting to closing.
The deal card
When a company has a deal, a Pipeline card sits at the top of the drawer. It shows:
- A stage stepper across the six stages, with the current one highlighted. Short labels are used when space is tight.
- Key terms — Target, Round, Structure, Pre-money (or Valuation cap for a SAFE or note), Est. ownership and Target close. Amounts are in millions of dollars.
- Lead investors and Following investors as chips.
- The Deal team avatars and an Assign button.
- Pass (or the pass reason and Reopen if already passed).
- Record investment, or an In portfolio marker once the position exists.
- Open in pipeline, which closes the drawer and shows the board.
Edit terms
Select the pencil on the deal card to edit Round, Structure (Equity round, SAFE, Convertible Note, Priced round, Bridge, Extension), Target check ($M), Pre-money ($M) or Valuation cap ($M), Target closing date, and the lead and following investors. The investor fields search your Network; type a name that is not there and choose Add as new investor. Select Save.
Autofill from interactions
If you have logged meetings or notes on the company, the edit form offers Autofill from N interactions & notes. Investryx reads your notes and proposes values for the terms fields — only facts stated in the notes, leaving fields blank where the notes are silent. The proposal fills the form with a note reading “AI-suggested from interactions & notes. Review before saving” and a one-line rationale citing the note it used. Nothing is saved until you select Save.
The sections below
The drawer’s sections are collapsible accordions and open collapsed. Use the expand-all button in the drawer’s top bar to open them at once.
| Section | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Overview | The company record with enrichment and manual edits |
| Signals | Momentum and the seven signals |
| Interactions | Meetings, calls, notes and emails — your deal notes live here |
| Recent funding, Recent news | On-demand web research |
| Dataroom | Decks, models and legal documents; upload, view in-app, download, delete |
| Diligence | The grouped checklist with progress (appears once a deal exists) |
| Investment memo | The AI-drafted, human-reviewed memo (appears once a deal exists) |
| People here | Contacts at the company |
The Who knows Acme Robotics? panel with the warm-intro path stays visible between the sections.
Notes and documents
Notes are interactions: select Log in the Interactions section, choose Note (or Meeting, Call, Email), add attendees, set the date and paste your text. Documents go in the Dataroom: select Upload, pick one or more files, then view them in-app by selecting the name or download them from the row. Deleting asks for confirmation.
Activity
Stage moves, memo drafts and enrichment runs are logged in the dashboard’s Recent activity feed, with the person who did them.
