Enrichment and provenance
Fill a company record from public sources, with a source and a confidence level on every field.
Enrichment fills an organisation’s Overview from public information on demand. It is a co-pilot, not an authority: every value it writes carries where it came from and how sure it is, and you can overwrite any of it by hand.
Run enrichment
- Open a company from Sourcing or Network.
- Expand the Overview section. Before the first run, a banner reads “N fields can be enriched”.
- Select Enrich.
- The banner changes to “Enriching Acme Robotics… web search · extracting fields” while the job runs. You can close the drawer; it continues in the background.
- When it finishes, the banner reads “Enriched · sources attached” and each field shows its value with a provenance chip.
If enrichment could not run, the banner reads “Enrichment couldn’t run” with the reason and a Retry button.
What each field carries
Every enriched field shows three things:
- Value — the text Investryx found.
- Source — where it came from, such as “Company site”, “Public profile” or a news article. When a URL is available the source is a link.
- Confidence — High, Medium or Unverified. Treat Unverified values as leads to check, not facts.
The same chip system appears wherever AI writes a value: signals, research results and fields applied by the agent.
What gets filled
The field set depends on the organisation’s primary category. Category, Headquarters and Website are always known and are not “enriched”; Headquarters is completed only if it was empty.

Fields the sources could not support are left empty rather than guessed. Summaries are written in the workspace’s AI co-pilot language.
Re-enrich and caching
After the first run the button reads Re-enrich, and the banner shows how many fields are filled (“Re-enrich · 6/8 filled”). Results are kept and treated as fresh for 30 days; selecting Re-enrich forces a new lookup when a company has changed. Manual edits are never overwritten by a re-run.
Each run is logged in the dashboard activity feed as “enriched Acme Robotics — N fields updated”.
